THE ELEMENTS OF WINE MINERALITY

Minerality is one of the most commonly used and yet least understood wine descriptors

THE ELEMENTS OF WINE MINERALITY
June 12th, 8:30AM - 1:00PM - Enartis USA Education Center

Minerality is one of the most mysterious and most commonly used wine descriptors. Wines described as ‘mineral’ are usually perceived by the market with more value and higher quality. How is minerality perceived in wine? What are the wine compounds associated with minerality? Can we predict or evaluate the level of minerality in wine? How can we drive wine style toward minerality? So many questions which recently found answers…

This seminar allows to deepen the scientific aspects and the application of newly developed technologies through the exchange of perspectives between wine lovers, wine writers, winemakers and researchers of the concept of minerality
