Maxigum is a liquid solution of Gum Arabic obtained from Acacia Verek. Because of its high molecular weight and highly branched structure, it is extremely effective in preventing the precipitation of color substances in wines ready for bottling.
Made from Acacia verek, Maxigum is produced using a simple solubilization and purification process designed to maintain the gum’s original dimensions and structure. As a result, Maxigum is highly effective in preventing pigment complex precipitation, softening astringency, and increasing mouthfeel structure.
