The products in the Enartis CLARIL range are selective fining agents specifically developed to achieve specific enological objectives in the production of red, rosé, and white wines. These wine fining agents are designed to meet producers' needs, improving the quality and stability of the final product.
The main purposes for which CLARIL fining agents can be used include: prevention and treatment of oxidation in must before and during fermentation, also by removing the metal content in wine (CLARIL OX and CLARIL HM); removal of unstable proteins in must and polyphenols in wine (CLARIL AF); organoleptic improvement of wine (CLARIL QY); elimination of light-struck fault and reduction of catechins (CLARIL RF); and mitigation of the impact of smoke exposure in white and rosé wines (CLARIL SMK).
In particular, Enartis has developed CLARIL OX, a selective fining agent based on plant proteins, bentonite, and chitosan, designed to effectively reduce the potential risk of oxidation in white and rosé musts.
