LAB COORDINATOR – Windsor CA
Who will be responsible for coordinating activities within the Enological Laboratory and performing accurate, general analysis of alcoholic beverages, grapes, grape products, incoming wine-based materials, and/or other related materials.
This position is based at the Enological Laboratory in Windsor CA, which is a support lab for Enartis and provides analysis and services, as necessary, to support product sales and help solve customer problems.
This role works closely with the Lab Team, the Winemaking Specialist, and the Technical & Marketing Manager to execute product trials and basic chemical analysis. It also plays a critical role in connecting our Laboratory expertise with our sales efforts. This individual will leverage their analytical skills and laboratory knowledge to provide valuable insights, advice, and support to the sales team, ultimately driving sales growth and customer satisfaction.
In addition, this role takes the lead in instrument troubleshooting, maintenance, and validation with support from the Laboratory Team as necessary.
This role and the overall Technical Team in the US are supported by the Global Enartis Technical Team, which utilizes a wealth of resources from internal and external R&D.
The Lab Coordinator communicates with the Global Team (particularly, the Global Lab Coordinator) to maintain a gold standard of methodology and technical know-how locally.

Qualification Requirements:
Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Enology or science-related field, with 3+ years of lab experience. Proficiency in all levels of wine production. Skilled in sensory analysis. Microbiology lab experience is a plus.
Language and Organizational Skills: Strong communication skills in verbal and written form, with technical writing experience. Able to communicate with tact and diplomacy. Strong team member qualities, enthusiasm, “can-do” attitude, coaching, planning, and implementation. Excellent organizational skills. Ability to read and understand measurements. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to vendors, customers, and employees of the organization. Spanish language proficiency is an advantage.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed, involved, written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Other Skills and Abilities: Proficiency in all aspects of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, and Outlook). Ability to arrange, manipulate, and access information in Word, SharePoint, and Excel. Able to learn new software with ease and efficiency. Exquisite attention to detail. Strong team player attitude.
Physical Demands: Must be at least 21 years of age. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time when necessary. Sufficient body dexterity to bend, stoop, reach and carry boxes of supplies, gas cylinders, equipment and related materials. Able to lift 40 pounds. Able to work extended hours as needed.
Available to travel occasionally domestic and internationally.
