Clarification, therefore, is a crucial practice of the winemaking process on which a large part of the final quality of the wine can depend.

    PLANTIS AF

    PLANTIS AF is a new clarifying coadjunct in Enartis’ “Allergen Free” line. It is used for wine clarification and stabilization.
    The plant protein contained by PLANTIS AF makes it especially effective for removing:

    • both oxidized and/or easily oxidizable phenolic substances, principally catechins and leucoanthocyanins, which are responsible for the darkening of color and the perception of flatness and bitter flavors;
    • reducing the content of tannins;
    • reducing the content of iron.

    The use of PLANTIS AF, gives a younger color to wines, increases cleanliness and olfactory freshness and reduces the sensation of bitterness and helps to give wines a greater longevity.
    PLANTIS AF is free of allergenic compounds and is not required to be listed on the label. Additionally, the absence of animal origin ingredients allows it to be used in the production of wines destined for consumption by vegetarians and vegans.

    PROTOMIX AF

    Protomix AF is a new fining coadjunct in Enartis’ “Allergen Free” line clarification and stabilization of must and wine.
    Protomix AF takes advantage of the synergy between its ingredients which selectively adsorb the main substances responsible for phenolic and protein instability in wine. When used in the clarification of must, Protomix AF promotes regular and complete fermentation kinetics by removing medium chain fatty acid inhibitors of fermentation.
    The protein fraction and PVPP reduce catechin content (which causes oxidation and bitter taste), ensuring fresh color and aromas and improved taste balance. Bentonite eliminates unstable proteins and limits the action of oxidasic enzymes present in grapes. Finally, Protomix AF assures good clarification and improves the filterability of wine.
    When used in wine, Protomix AF prevents and treats oxidation (the cause of browning and loss of aromas), contributes to protein stability and has an excellent clarifying action. The rapid settling and excellent lees compaction reduce wine losses and optimize labor in the cellar.
    Protomix AF can also be used in the treatment of wines that have had a stuck fermentation, or that need to be re-fermented, because it eliminates toxic substances which could inhibit yeast performance.

    PLANTIS AF-Q

    PLANTIS AF-Q is a new clarifying coadjunct in Enartis’ “Allergen Free” line for clarification and stabilization of juice and wine.
    The composition of plant protein and chitosan increases flocculant capacity and effectiveness in:
    -clarifying;
    -removing oxidized and easily oxidizable phenolic substances, mainly catechins and leucoantocians, which are responsible for the darkening of color, flatness and bitter flavors;
    – reducing the content of tannins;
    – reducing the content of iron.
    The use of PLANTIS AF-Q contributes towards younger wine color, increased cleanliness and aromatic freshness, reduces the sensation of bitterness and helps give wines improved longevity.
    PLANTIS AF-Q is free of allergenic compounds and is not required to be listed on the label. Additionally, the absence of products of animal origin makes it suitable to be used in the production of wines destined for consumption by vegetarians and vegans.
